Big Idea: Faith that is real will always reach your relationships. The true measure of faith isn’t found in what you believe on Sunday, it’s found in hat you believe from Monday through Saturday. Does Christ make a difference in the relationships that matter most?
Colossians 3: 18-41
Three everyday relationships where Christ’s presence should make all the difference.
1. Jesus transforms marriage (vs 18-19) Eph 5: 21-22 mutual submission to one another; Eph 5: 23-24 submission is not servitude. The goal is not hierarchy, it’s harmony.
2. Jesus transforms family (vs 20-21) Eph 6:1 Discipline should guide, not humiliate - are you encouraging or exasperating your children? Do you obey God in a that pleases Him?
3. Jesus transforms work (vs 22-4:1) 1 Cor 10:31 be diligent in everything you do, at all times. Who are you working for?
