CloseUltimately - Joseph’s story is God’s story. It’s a story of God’s faithfulness. It’s a story of Joseph walking faithfully, by God’s power, in all things and trusting that God is in control: Faithful in mistreatment; Faithful in temptation; Faithful in being forgotten. Faithful in good times and, ultimately, faithful for a lifetime. Faithful in good times and, ultimately, faithful for a lifetime.

Close05/17/2026 Strong and Courageous | Hidden Sin Joshua 7 BIG IDEA: You cannot walk in victory publicly, while hiding disobedience privately. Hidden sin can make you look healthy on the outside, while quietly destroying you on the inside. It’s hidden, so it’s harmless. Some insights about hidden sin: 1. Hidden sin never stays hidden. Sometimes, the greatest threat isn’t the pressure around you; it’s the sin you’re hiding within you. What have you convinced yourself is “private” that is actually affecting everything around you? 2. God brings hidden sin into the light so that he can bring healing into your life. The problem isn’t God’s faithlessness, it’s the hidden compromises that we keep making, thinking that if no one else knows, it’s ok. What are you protecting that God is trying to heal? 3. Sin loses its power when it’s brought into the light. What stays hidden within us cannot be healed. What are you still hiding that needs to be brought into the light? 4. Repentance restores what sin destroys. What would God heal and restore if you stopped hiding it and instead surrendered it? Dealing with sin: 1. Stop minimizing it. 2. Confess it to God. (Psalm 32:3a, 5) 3. Bring it into trusted community. (James 5:16a) 4. Remove what fuels it. (Matthew 5:29-30) 5. Build ongoing accountability. (Galatians 16:2)
