Northampton Bible Church has been a faithful witness to the gospel in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio since 1956, when it was first established as Northampton Baptist Church. From the beginning, the church has been committed to building a community rooted in God’s Word and reaching people with the hope of Jesus Christ.
1956 – The church was founded as Northampton Baptist Church.
1960 – The congregation moved into its current facility on West Steels Corners Road.
1997 - East Wing Expansion – Over the years, the church has undergone several renovations and expansions, including the addition of the east wing, to better serve the needs of its growing congregation.
Leadership History – Throughout its history, Northampton has been shepherded by only a few senior pastors, reflecting a spirit of stability and long-term commitment. In 2014, Joe Pryor, who grew up in the church and previously served as Family Pastor, became the church’s third Senior Pastor.
Name Change – Later in its history, the church transitioned from Northampton Baptist Church to Northampton Bible Church, a change that reflected its ongoing commitment to biblical truth and community impact.
From its earliest days, Northampton has emphasized community-focused ministry—offering prayer groups, Sunday school, and programs for all ages. That same commitment continues today through vibrant ministries, outreach, and a mission to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples.
We are a multi-generational church family that values authenticity, teamwork, and empowerment of leaders. As we look to the future, we remain committed to reaching our neighbors, investing in the next generation, and being a light for Christ in Cuyahoga Falls and beyond.
