Message: "Walls Fall When God Leads" from Joe Pryor

A message from the series "Strong & Courageous." 05/10/2026 Strong and Courageous | Walls Fall When God Leads
Joshua 6
Big Idea: Victory belongs to God, but obedience belongs to us.

When God’s ways don’t seem to make sense, remember they’re shaping faith in you.
1. God’s leading, you’re following. God is not trying to win a battle as much as He’s trying to form a people who will continue to trust Him. (Prov 3:5-6) We believe God can leverage the wall in front of us, but we struggle to trust how He chooses to do it. (Isaiah 55:8)
2. God is transforming you in the process. God often does his deepest work in you, before He does His visible work through you.
3. God is working even when you don’t see it. God is working while you are obediently walking. (Gal 6:9)

Four clarifying questions to help you walk in obedience:
1. What wall are you staring at right now? You cannot defeat what you will not define.
2. What obedience step is God asking from you that doesn’t make sense? Do you really believe that Jesus is enough for you?
3. Where do you need to keep walking? Faith is an EVERY DAY thing.
4. What victory do you need to surrender back to God? Give God the credit and the glory that only he deserves.

Message: "Faith That Sees" from Jim Souza

A message from the series "Strong & Courageous." 04/19/2026 Strong and Courageous | Faith That Sees
Joshua 2
Joshua is the story of how God teaches ordinary people to live strong & courageous lives.
Courage grows out of faith that sees.
FAITH SEES BEFORE IT SEES! Faith that sees believes what is true about God and acts on it, before circumstances change.
Rahab had a divine appointment that she acted on in faith.
Faith that sees:
1. Sees God clearly. …”I know that the LORD has given you the land…” 2:9a Faith isn’t about seeing everything clearly. It’s about seeing God clearly.
2. Sees fear differently. “…all who live in this country are melting in fear…” 2:9b Faith doesn’t remove fear, it redirects it. Courage is not the absence of fear, it’s overcoming fear through faith. Every fear we face bows before God.
3. Sees the need to act. Rahab…was shown to be right with God by her actions… James 2:25 see also Hebrews 11:31
Faith isn’t just something you believe, it’s something you build your life on.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

Message: "Where Strong & Courageous Begins" from Joe Pryor

A message from the series "Strong & Courageous." 04/12/2026 Strong and Courageous

Joshua 1:6-9
Joshua is the story of how God teaches ordinary people to live strong & courageous lives.

BIG IDEA: God grows courage in us as we trust His presence, stand on His promises, and live by His Word.
Do you feel ready for what’s in front of you? Will you trust God when you don’t feel ready to?

The beginning of strong & courageous:
1. God uses new seasons to grow courage. God leads ordinary people into new seasons that require them to trust Him.
2. God grounds our courage in His promises, not our performance. Courage grows when you trust what God has promised more than what you can produce.
3. God builds courage through His presence. Courage isn’t self-confidence, it’s God-confidence.
4. God forms courage through our obedience to His Word. Meditation is keeping God’s Word in your mind long enough that it begins to shape your life.

Where is God trying to form courage in you right now?
1. Is God calling you into a new season you don’t feel ready for? Step forward anyway and trust God.
2. Is there a promise of God you need to stand on instead of your own ability? Learn to trust God through the process.
3. Is there a place you need to trust that God is with you? Pray to experience God’s presence.
4. Are there ways for you to begin to root yourself in God’s Word this week?

Message: "The King Who Seeks and Saves the Lost" from Joe Pryor

A message from the series "Unexpected King." 03/29/2026 The Unexpected King
The King Who Saves the Lost | Luke 19:1-10

BIG IDEA: Jesus is the King who seeks and saves the lost.
If you haven’t come to Christ, it’s likely that you haven’t realized your need for Him.

1. Zacchaeus was in plain sight but was still unseen, not hiding, but overlooked.
Who are the unseen “Zacchaeus’s” in your world that God is showing you that you’ve been overlooking?
2. Jesus sees the lost and saves them. God is able to save the hopeless.
See Luke 19:10.

TWO CHALLENGES FOR THIS WEEK:
CHALLENGE #1: See one person. I can’t reach people I don’t see.
CHALLENGE #2: Stop and move toward them. Jesus stopped, so can I.

Message: "The King Who Welcomes Sinners" from Joe Pryor

A message from the series "Unexpected King." 03/22/2026 The Unexpected King
The King Who Welcomes Sinners | Luke 7: 36-50

BIG IDEA: Jesus is the King who welcomes sinners and honors humble hearts.

Two things become clear from this parable:
1. Religion can sit close to Jesus and still miss His heart. We invite Jesus into our lives, but we. Fail to honor Him for who He is. Holiness moves toward sinners to restore them. Self-righteousness is the sin that hides behind good behavior.
2. Grace flows to the people who know they need it. Grace is not a reward for good people, it’s a rescue for humble people.

Which chair best represents your heart right now, pride or humility? What steps can you take this week to move toward humility and grace?
Who in your life might feel like they do not belong? How can you reflect the welcoming heart of Jesus toward them this week?

Message: "Is it Well With Your Soul?" from Dennis Turner

A message from the series "Individual Messages." 03/08/2026 Is It Well With Your Soul
Psalm 42 Dennis Turner

BIG IDEA: Soul Health: an ongoing, honest appraisal of who we are (v3), through an ongoing, honest acceptance of who God says we are (v8).

The threats of the soul: Psalm 42: v3a - unending sorrow; v3b - taunting from unbelievers; vs 4&6 - removed from worship; v7 - totally overwhelmed; v9 - a feeling of abandonment.
1. Worriness - the things in life that we fret over.
2. Wariness - perpetual fear that paralyzes us.
3. Weariness - soul fatigue, just being “done with it”.

The thirsts of the soul:
1. God Himself - (vs1-2) our souls long for God in order to experience His presence.
2. The love of God (v8)
3. Hope in God (vs5,11) only God can satisfy and fulfill us.
Cultivating a rhythm of soul health:

One hour a day - meet with God
One day a week - practice Sabbath
One morning or afternoon or evening - set time apart to commune with God
One weekend a year - sabbatical or retreat

Message: "God's Unconditional Love" from Joe Pryor

A message from the series "Love, Rewritten." 03/01/2026 Love, Rewritten | God’s Unconditional Love

Exodus 34
BIG IDEA: God’s hesed is covenant love that binds Himself to us and refuses to let go.
How long will God keep loving us? Following Jesus is not about trying harder, it’s about surrendering more.
Idols in our lives: What idols do you have in your life that keep you from enriching your relationship with Jesus? You are free to choose, but you are not free to choose your consequences.

God’s hesed for you:
Hesed is rooted in God’s character. Hesed is not sustained by your behavior, it’s sustained by God’s character..
Hesed outlasts failure.
Hesed is revealed fully in Christ. (John 1:14) Jesus is hesed embodied (1 Peter 1: 18-19). The Cross is not emotional love, it’s covenantal love paying the price.

In Christ, your new reality is:
Hesed means you can stop performing. If God’s love were conditional, you would have to maintain it. Read Galatians 3:3 and 2:20.
Hesed means you can stop hiding. Confess your sins, repent, and receive God’s forgiveness. (Psalm 32)
Hesed means you can start loving differently. (Colossians 3; Ephesians 4) We are anchored by God’s love, so we can love others properly.
